Understanding Ad Manager

The Ad Manager lets you control what customers see on rear screens. Think of it like a digital noticeboard for your venue: you can display promos, special offers, or branded content, and decide when and where each ad appears.

How to Create and Manage Ads

Required Setup and Access

  1. Navigate in HQ to Site Settings > Ad Manager
  2. Ensure rear screens are connected and functional
  3. Prepare your JPG images for upload

Dashboard Overview

The Ad Manager dashboard displays the following:

  1. Total Ads
  2. Active Ads
  3. Inactive Ads
  4. Filter function to sort and find ads efficiently

Creating an Ad

  1. Press Create Ad in the dashboard

  1. Enter an ad name for identification
  2. Attach a JPG image for the ad
  3. Set the duration (seconds) for display per rotation

💡 Tip: Choose durations appropriate for customer engagement—too short may be missed, too long may bore viewers.

Managing Existing Ads

Each ad shows its current status in the dashboard window.

  1. Press the three dots (⋮) next to an ad to access options

  1. Select the desired action:
    • Edit – Modify ad content or schedule
    • Deactivate/Pause – Temporarily stop display
    • Delete – Permanently remove the ad

⚠️ Heads up: Changes take effect after the next refresh cycle (~30 seconds).


Accessing Organisational Ad Options

  1. Click the profile icon in HQ
  2. Select Organisational Settings > Ad Rotation

  • Review dashboard regularly to deactivate expired ads
  • Filter dashboard to quickly manage multiple ads
  • Prepare high-quality JPGs optimized for rear screen resolution
  • Coordinate ad schedule with promotional events or seasonal campaigns
  • Log into the till after making changes to verify display
